MARJORIE MCDANIEL

The body of Marjorie McDaniel, 20, who died very suddenly in a hospital at Holdredge, Nebr., Saturday evening, following an operation for appendicitis was sent to Nevada where funeral services were held at Central Presbyterian church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, after which the body was laid to rest in the family lot in the Nevada cemetery, by the side of her parents.

The father, Walter L. McDaniel died November 1, 1931, and the mother, Mona McDaniel on June 23 last.

Following the death of the mother, Marjorie, with her brother, Bob, and younger sister, Jeanette, went to Holdredge to make their home with an aunt, Mrs. Bessie Anderson and other relatives.

Marjorie McDaniel was the elder daughter of Walter and Mona Fowler-McDaniel. Born in Nevada, Aug. 5, 1915, she attended and graduated from the Nevada high school and was popular young lady and much loved and admired by those who knew her. The very sudden death following so closely upon that of the mother is a great shock to the relatives and friends in this community.
