Nevada man died Monday

Walter Johansen, 84, Nevada, died about 9:45 Monday [November 25, 1963] at the Story County Hospital in Nevada where he had been a patient since last June.

He is survived by his wife, Haline; a son, Ludwig, Nevada; two daughters, Mrs Velma Sampson, Nevada, and Mrs. Maxine Bean, Markham, Ill., and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. form the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada with the Rev. E. P. Windman officiating.

A private memorial service for the family and relatives will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Victor Hackbarth officiating.
