LUDWIG JOHANSEN

Ludwig A. Johansen, 69, of Nevada died Sunday, May 30, 1982 at Story County Hospital, Nevada.

He was born April 24, 1913, in Fonda, Iowa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johansen, and attended the Fernald School, graduating in 1933. On June 19, 1971, he married Jeannette Watson at Nevada.

Mr. Johansen spent most of his life in Nevada. He served in WW II. He was an auto mechanic and was employed by Iowa State University until his retirement in 1979. He was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church, Nevada American Legion and Ames 40 and 8.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannette; a step daughter, Kathy Roberts of Nevada; a step son, Keith Watson of Huston, Tex.; a sister, Maxine Bean of Chicago; five grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada, with Pastor Walter Lack officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
