Esther L. Gear
June 7, 1903 to May 17, 1994

Esther Levine Gear, 90, of Nevada died of heart failure at her home.

She was born to Andrew and Lena (Peterson) Hideraker in Hamilton County. She graduated from Jewell Lutheran College. On Nov. 28, 1924, she married Lloyd Willard Gear in Blairsburg. She was a longtime resident of Nevada and worked as a clerk at Donnelley Marketing until her retirement in 1968. She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church, Nevada.

Survivors include her son, Ronald J. Gear and his wife Jane of Muscatine; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Emma Hinderaker and Marjorie Guard, both of Radcliffe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and two brothers.
