Delores Laura Taylor

Delores Laura Taylor, 80, of Nevada, died of cancer Sunday, Feb. 26, 1989 at Story County Hospital.

Services will be Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, Nevada, Burial will be at the Nevada Cemetery.

Taylor was born July 21, 1908 in Colo, IA to George and Rosedna P. Adams Keene. She was a lifetime resident of the Nevada area. She was retired executive secretary, having last worked at Nevada National Bank.

Taylor married Fred G. McConnell, who died in 1965. She married James Taylor Jan. 10, 1970 at Nashua, IA. She was a member of th Nevada American Legion Auxiliary and the Nevada United Methodist Church.

Survivors include husband James of Nevada; son James G. McConnell of Honolulu, HI; stepson Don Taylor of Chicago, IL; and stepdaughter Shirley Taylor of Santa Fe, NM.
