Services for Mrs. Otto Thompson Saturday Afternoon
Funeral services for the late Mr.s Otto Thompson, 61, who passed away Monday [August 28, 1944] forenoon at his home on Ninth street after an illness of three months from heart complications, will be held from Nevada Methodist church, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
The services will be in charge of the Rev. O. E. Cooley and the Rev. Roy M. Klopping. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson was born Alta Myrtle Olinger, Oct. 12, 1882, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Olinger of Maxwell. She is survived by her husband and eight children, all of whom, with the exception of the son Donald Thompson, who is with the Air Force in France, will be here for the funeral services.
The son Francis, who is with the U. S. Navy, is here at this time. One of the sons will arrive the state of Washington Friday morning and another son will arrive from the same state Friday afternoon.
