MARILYN ANN BADER

Marilyn Ann Bader, 59, of Nevada IA, died Wednesday, April 6, 1988, at Story County Hospital in Nevada.

She was born March 13, 1929, at Nevada to John Emil Thorson and Trena Wilson.

She was married to Glenn Bader June 13, 1959, at the Little Brown Church at Nashua IA.

She lived all her life in the Cambridge IA and Nevada area. She was a homemaker and had worked as a clerk in the treasurer's office at the Story County Courthouse.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Nevada and the Nevada chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Order of the Eastern Star services will be held Friday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m. at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home, 5th St. and Lincoln Highway in Nevada.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. William Ballard of the United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Nevada Cemetery, Nevada.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Bader of Nevada; two sons, Kim West of Ames IA and Kirk West of Chicago IL; a daughter, Kay Fleshman of Nevada; a brother, Roger Thorson of Cambridge; a sister Phylis Madison of Ankeny IA, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
