Eaton Funeral Services at Ames This Afternoon

Funeral rites for James William Eaton, 61, former Nevada resident, who died at the home on Lincoln Way, Ames, Monday evening, were being held at the Adams funeral chapel there this afternoon at 4 p. m. with the Christian Science funeral service being read. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

Mr. Eaton, a native of Danville, Illinois, where he was born Nov. 21, 1882, had been a resident of Nevada for a number of years and it was here that he was married to Miss Minnie Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Wright, May 30, 1903.

It was about 26 years ago that they moved to Ames and had lived there since, the most of the time being connected with the grocery trade.

There are no children and he leaves in his immediate family, only his wife, Mrs. Minnie Eaton of Ames; brothers Burt and Adam, both of Illinois, and sister, Mrs. W. F. Beck of Elkhart, Indiana.

Mr. Eaton had been failing in health for about 5 years.
