Vista Muriel Turkington, was born August 25, 1894, in College Springs, Iowa, daughter of Rev. H. H. and Emma Barton. Rev. and Mrs. Barton and one sister, Mable, have preceded her in death, she passing away at her home, August 17, 1954.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Ernest Turkington of Nevada, three sons, Donald Barton, and wife Harriet of Norman, Oklahoma; John Malcolm of Portland, Oregon, and Harry Hunter, wife Lois May and daughter Cheryl Kay of Melrose Park, Illinois; plus many friends in Nevada and surrounding territory.

She was a member of the Methodist church, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Nevada Woman's Club, the Garden Division and the Hospital Guild, the Richland Garden Club and the Woman's Relief Corps.
