Rites Saturday for Nevada man

Clarence French, 83, Nevada died Jan. 16 at the Story County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

Born at Edison, Neb., he lived in Nevada 45 years. He was employed as a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Stella; a son, Max French of Bamberg, Germany; a daughter, Mrs. Gerta Padgett of Pocahontas; two grandchildren and two sisters.
