MRS. GEORGE PHIFER

Mrs. George Phifer, 81, for many years a resident of Story county and Nevada, died Wednesday at her home at Fairmont, Minn.

Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Phifer lived in Nevada for several years during which time he conducted a fee yard--this was back in the horse and buggy years--on the lots where the building now occupied by the McCormick-Deering store and small vacant oil station now stand.
