Bernice French Died Following Operation

Bernice French, about 16 years of age, died at Iowa sanitarium last night, at about 11:30 and the funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 at the Methodist church in this city, in charge of Rev. C. E. Lookingbill of the Brethren church in Fernald. Bernice was the third son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles French of Fernald. He suffered a severe attack of appendicitis last week and submitted to an operation. It was realized at the time that his condition was very critical and his death was no unexpected.
