Fidelia May (Craft) Johnson (1883-1948)

Fidelia May Craft, daughter of Eli and Anna David Craft, was born at Astoria, Ill., on May 18, 1883. She passed away on Aug. 17, 1948 at Des Moines, Iowa.

In earlier life Mrs. Johnson taught school at Zearing, Iowa. Following which she came to Nevada in 1909 where she became a teacher of fourth grace in the public school teaching until her marriage a Linden, iowa.

On Feb. 26, 1918, she was united in marriage to W. C. Johnson. Mr. Johnson died June 23, 1946.

For more than a year Mrs. Johnson had been in failing health although her condition did not become critical until a few weeks ago.

She leaves two step sons, Kenneth C. Johnson of Collins, Iowa, and Kermit F. Johnson of Raleigh, N. C., four grand children. Also brothers, W. D. Craft of Linden, Iowa, Elwood G. Craft of Kansas City, Mo., M. R. Craft of Phoenix, Ariz., and Russell K. Craft, Adel, Iowa. A sister Mrs. B. C. Caster of Marshalltown, Iowa. One brother Fayette Craft died on July 18 this year.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Nevada Methodist church. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
