FRANK O. INGALLS

Frank O. Ingalls, 66, lifelong resident of Nevada, died at Iowa sanitarium Tuesday from the effects of a stroke of paralysis suffered shortly after noon on Monday.

Mr. Ingalls, the last of one of the pioneer families of Nevada, was born at Monmouth, Iowa, November 12, 1872, one of triplets born to Ormando B. and Julia Robinson-Ingalls.

The family came to Nevada in 1874, when Frank was but two years of age. The father was agent of the North Western there from that time until he retired on a pension probably about 1904.

Of the triplets Flora Belle died August 20, 1873, and the third a son, Fred, grew to manhood in Nevada, but eventually left there and all trace of him became lost. An older brother Arthur Ingalls died at Kansas City May 5, 1915.

Frank attended the Nevada schools and when a very young man engaged in the photographic business in which art he became very proficient. He continued in that work for over 45 years, being located in the same studio continuously.

He had been very active in affairs of the Central Presbyterian church with which congregation he became associated when a small boy. After reaching maturity he was active in music affairs of the congregation and later took over the direction of the choir which had been in charge of his mother for many years.

His entire life had been devoted to doing good to others, he was unselfish, dependable and a man whose life was exemplary in every way.
