Sept. 17, 1912 to March 4, 2000

Agnes W. Conner, 87, of Nevada, died Saturday, March 4, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames from complications of a stroke.

She was born Sept. 17, 1912, in Rouleau, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Marienus and Barbara (Statfeldt) Weyers. She married Dr. John D. Conner on Dec. 25, 1940. She was a registered nurse and helped her husband in his practice in Nevada for many years.

Survivors include a son, Jim D. Conner of Racine, Wis.; a daughter, Ellen McEachran of Nevada; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Private graveside services were held Monday at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Mitchell officiating. Memorials may be made to Mary Greeley Medical Center Rehab Center of to the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Bacon Funeral Home, Nevada, handled arrangements.
