GLENDORA ARMSTRONG

Glendora Armstrong, 72, of 1687 Northeast 56th, Altoona, Ia., died Nov. 30, 1983 at the Carlisle Care Center.

Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, at 1:30 p.m. at Sheridan Park United Methodist Church in Des Moines. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

Armstrong was born Jan. 8, 1911. She had lived around Des Moines since 1945. She was a homemaker and housewife. Her husband, Ellis Gene Armstrong, who was formerly with the Nevada Evening Journal, died 3 1/2 years ago.

Survivors include one son, Ellis Lynn Armstrong, of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Jeanne Credle of Garden Grove, Calif., and Jolene Wagoner of Altoona; a sister, Hazel Day of Scoby, Mont.; six grandsons, two granddaughters and four great grandchildren.
