Eva G. Harris
Jan. 20, 1900 to Feb. 2, 1998Eva G. Harris, 98, of Nevada, died Monday, Feb 2, at Boone County Hospital in Boone of complications of hip surgery.
She was born Jan. 20, 1900, in Story County to Clayton E. and Emma A. (Schauper) Harris. She was a seamstress and a lifelong resident of Story County. She enjoyed gardening and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Brad Braley of Central Presbyterian Church officiating.
SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Eva Goldie Harris married Virgil Leroy Galbreath on 18 Feburary 1920 in Boone, Boone County, Iowa.
