Gerald Lynn McConnell
Nov. 21, 1934 to May 18, 2004

Gerald Lynn McConnell, 69, of Casa Grande, Ariz., was born Nov. 21, 1934, in Nevada, son of Kenneth L. and Beulah (Haupsted) McConnell. Gerald graduated from Nevada High School with the class of 1953.

Memorial services were held at the Christian Church of Casa Grande May 21, 2004. Nevada Christian Church held Memorial Service Saturday, May 29, with Rev. Brice Hughes. Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery Crematorium.

Gerald served in the Air Force and also was active in the Civil Air Patrol.

Gerald is survived by Mary Jane (wife of 40 years) and two sons, Byron A. of Casa Grande and Kenneth J. (Laurie) and two grandsons of Boise, Idaho.

Gerald was a nephew of William and Velda Haugsted of Nevada and Clarence Haugsted of Ames. Terry McConnell of Nevada and Carol McConnell Archer of Des Moines are cousins.
