Milton B. Anderson
Nov. 27, 1917 to Feb. 28, 1991

Milton B. (Mickey) Anderson, 74, of Nevada died of a heart ailment at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Knoxville. He had been suffering from this ailment for 1-1/2 years.

He was born in Roland to Edward and Ellen (Halsne) Anderson. On Nov. 16, 1941, he married Geraldine L. Anderson at Bethany, Mo. He was a retiree of the Davis-Donnellan Lumber Company and served for 20 years as a Nevada volunteer fireman. he was a veteran of World War II and a member of Nevada Memorial Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife Geraldine of Nevada; three sons, Milton (Mick) of McCallsburg, Ray of Collins and David of Nevada; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Edward of Arizona and Truman of Fort Dodge; six sisters, Bernice Cox of Ames, Burdella Middens of Arizona, Jenny Bremer of Oregon, Evelyn McDonald of Oregon, Shirley Miller of Iowa City and Ruth Reed of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Nina L. Van Patten.

Services were held Mar. 4 at Nevada Memorial Lutheran Church with Pastor Daniel W. Solomon officiating. Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
