Sarah Louise Storby was born on September 16, 1913 to Julius M. and Matilda (Henderson) Ingebritson in Randall, Iowa. She graduated from Roland High School in 1931 and was baptized and confirmed at Bethel Lutheran Church in Story City. Sarah was married to Benard M. Storby on October 30, 1933 at Bethel Lutheran Church. She was a longtime member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames and volunteered with various church activities, especially with the Scandinavian Coffee, her Circle and the quilting group. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed family get-togethers and holidays, visiting with friends, playing bridge and traveling.

Sarah passed away on January 12, 2014 at 100 years of age.

She will be greatly missed by her family. Survivors include her daughters, Diane (Jerry) Westercamp and Marcia (Dave) Henry; her grandchildren, Jill (Tom) Catus, Amy Westercamp and Kimberly (Jeff) Miller; her great-grandchildren, Jack, Sophie and Erik Catus; her brother, Julius Ingebritson; and many nieces and nephews.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband; her sister; and her brother.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Bethesda Lutheran Church, Center Evangelical Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
