Mrs. Archie Otto Dies After a Lingering Illness

Hazel Iva Otto, 48, wife of Archie Otto, farmer of north of town, passed away at her farm home last evening and funeral rites will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at Memorial Lutheran church, with Dr. J. O. Simon in charge. Burial will be in Nevada cemetery.

She was born at McDevitt Grove near Des Moines February 27, 1895 and had lived near Nevada for the past 4 years. In her immediate family she leaves her husband and one son, Ernest, age 18 years. She is survived by her mother.

Besides the mother, Mrs. Michael, who is an invalid, she leaves brothers Raymond and Roy Micheal of Des Moines, and sister Mrs. Syble Bates and Mrs. Mabel Goodman, also of Des Moines.

She had been an active member of the local until of the V.F.W. auxiliary until her health prevented further activities.

Officers of the Story County Post No. 2200 Veterans of Foreign Wars of Nevada, request that all members of the post and the auxiliary be present at the services if possible.
