ARCHIE P. OTTO

Archie P. Otto, 93, of Nevada, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 1984, at the V.A. Medical Center in Des Moines.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, at the Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor John Chadwick of the Nevada Memorial Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at the Nevada Cemetery.

Archie Otto was born on Jan. 23, 1891, to Frank R. and Lula (Hunt) Otto in Johnston. He was married to Hazel Iva Michael. He lived in Polk and Dallas counties before moving to Story County in 1938. Hazel Otto died in 1943. He was a retired farmer, and a past member of the VFW and Odd Fellows.

He is survived by one son, Ernest Otto of Pollock, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Helen Richardson of Chicago Heights, Ill.; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded by his parents, two brothers, one sister and three great grandchildren.

The family will received friends Tuesday evening at the Ryan Funeral Home.
