ROBERT H. McDANIEL

Funeral services for Robert H. McDaniel were held at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada on June 10. Rev. Victor Hackbarth conducted the services.

Mr. McDaniel was born June 9, 1919, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter McDaniel of Nevada.

He served in the U. S. Army and was a prisoner of the Japanese on the Philippine Islands for 42 months. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Ribbon and World
War II Victory Medal.

He has been employed by the Pennington County Health Department in Rapid City, S. Dak., since 1957.

He died at his home in Rapid City on June 4.

Mr. McDaniel is survived by his wife, two daughters and one sister, Jeanette Alberts of Des Moines.

Burial was in the Nevada cemetery.
