GORDON H. WADSWORTH

Gordon H. Wadsworth, 67, a former resident of Nevada, died Wednesday evening at the Story County Hospital where he had been for the past 4 days. He had been in failing health for the past 2 1/2 years.

Born August 23, 1906 to Charles and Lela Wadsworth in Chicago, Illinois, he had been a resident of Story County for the past 22 years. He was a member of United Methodist Church, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine of Des Moines and Nevada Masonic Lodge 99, A.F & A.M.

He is survived by two sons, Gordon H. Wadsworth of Atlanta, Georgia and James Wadsworth of Los Angeles, California; one daughter, Mrs. Dean C. (Pauline) Robertson of Nevada; one brother Ralph of Berea, Kentucky; one sister, Mrs. Florence Bolger of Mission Viejo, California; and ning grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and his wife, Ruth, who died in 1955.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Marvin L. Hulse officiating. Private committal services will be held at a later date. The body will not be viewed.

A memorial fund has been established.
