Elzen Watson was born in Lancaster, Tenn. to Daniel and Mattie Dulaney Watson on Dept 7, 1891. He died at Mary Greeley Hosp. May 1, 1959 at the age of 17 years, 7 months and 23 days. In 1913 he was united in marriage to Carrie Taylor. Four sons were born to this union.

He came to Collins, Iowa in 1923, later to the Ames, and to the Nevada area in 1925.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Carrie, four son, Ray and Robert, bothe of Nevada, Elmer and Kenneth both of Boone, also 11 grandchildren, on brother Grady of Silver Point, Tenn., two sisters, Mrs. Julia Trapp of Lancaster, Tenn., Mrs. Jessie Walter of McMinnville, Tenn., Also many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Relatives attending the funeral from out of state were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lorance and Miss Bobbie Walker from McMinnville, Tenn.
