MRS. EVA DAVIS

Mrs. Eva Davis, daughter of Peter and Regina Feit, was born Oct 14, 1879, and died Dec. 17, 1960. She grew up on Chenoa, Ill., where she married Edwin Davis, Jan. 17, 1904. The family moved to Polk County in 1913 where they resided two years before moving to Story County. They moved to the Roland vicinity in 1943 where she resided until her death.

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Eva Davis Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland with the Rev. Howard Lybeck officiating. Burial was in the Nevada cemetery. Pallbearers were Irvin Genes, Victor Feit, Eddie Feit, Howard Elson and Charles Elson, all nephews, and Noel Huss, grandson.

She was a member of the Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1949. Surviving her are: Ellen (Mrs. Dewey Huss) of Des Moines; Floyd of Nevada; Alberta (Mrs. Emil Campoy) of Los Gatos, Calif.; Orville of Roland; Laurence of Ames; and Eldon of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and five grandchildren.
