THOMAS A. PRESCOTT

Thomas A. Prescott, 88, of Nevada, died Monday, April 30, 1964, at the Story County Hospital.

Services ill be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at the Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. John Chadwick officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Thomas Prescott was born on Sept. 13, 1895, to Ole and Mary (Simonson) Prescott in Roland. He also attended school in Roland.

On Jan. 5, 1917, he was married to Millie Thompson in Vinton. Mr. Prescott was a self-employed painter and interior decorator. He was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church. Mary Prescott died in 1974.

Mr. Prescott is survived by one son, Roy Prescott of Brooklyn; one daughter, Corrine Prescott of Nevada; two sister, Edna Anfinson of Nevada, and one granddaughter, DeeAnn Prescott of Fairbanks, Alaska.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Prescott was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Donald, and five brothers.

The family will received friends at the funeral home Wednesday night.
