MILLIE PRESCOTT

Funeral services will be held from Ryan Funeral Home Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wayne R. Hanson officiating for Mrs. Tom (Millie) Prescott, 427 N Ave., Nevada who died Wednesday evening at the Story county Hospital She was 76.

Born June 22, 1898 in Roland to Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Thompson, she had been a resident of Nevada for the past 45 years. She was married to Tom Prescott on January 5, 1917 in Vinton and had been a member of Memorial Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband; 2 sons, Roy C. and Donald A. both of Nevada; 1 daughter, Corrine M. Prescott of Nevada; 1 granddaughter, DeeAnn Prescott of Fairbanks, Alaska; 1 sister, Mrs. Roscella Harvey of Marshalltown. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.
