STELLA BEATRICE FULLER
Stella Beatrice Fuller, 82, died Monday, June 15, 1987, at 6:30 p.m. She was a resident of Home Acres Trailer Court in Nevada.
Mrs. Fuller died at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Polk County IA, of cancer.
She was born at Searsboro IA, of cancer.
She was married to Roland W. Fuller on June 1, 1952, at Eldora IA. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gerry Hodgson of Nevada IA and Mrs. Pat Haning of Bondurant IA; two stepsons, Francis Fuller of Carrollton TX and Larry Fuller of Aurora IL; nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Mrs. Fuller retired in 1967 after owning and operating Stella's Restaurant in Nevada. She operated the restaurant from 1943-1963.
She moved to the Nevada area from Newton IA in 1945.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Nevada Golden Agers (of which she was past president, having served three years in that office), the American Legion Auxiliary and was active at the Nevada Senior Citizen Center.
Funeral services were Thursday, June 18, at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Nevada with Rev. William Ballard officiating. Musical selections included "How Great Thou Art" and "The Old Rugged Cross."
Visitation was Wednesday, June 17, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home, 5th St. and Lincoln Hwy., Nevada. The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
