BESS PROCTOR
Mrs. Bess L. Proctor, 90, Nevada, died last night at 10 p.m. After a two year illness she passed away in Odebolt.
Mrs. Proctor was born on November 2, 1882 in LeGrand, Iowa. Her parents were William and Laura Klump. She had been a resident of Story County for most of her life.
Mrs. Proctor was survived by one son: Robert Proctor, Redding, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. George (Doris) Holburn, Odebolt; Mrs. Harold (Irma) Handsaker, Nevada; Mrs. Ralph (Elizabeth) Hitchings, McCallsburg; and Mrs. Marcellus (Ruth) Sowers, Wichita, Kansas; and one sister, Mrs. Charles Handsaker, Ogden, Utah.
She was also survived by eight grand children; 13 great grand children and two great-great grand children.
The time and place of the funeral will be announced later. Ryan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
Mrs. Proctor was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vern, two brothers, two sisters and on great great grand child.
