Harestad rites set Tuesday

Mrs. Anna Harestad, 52, Garden City, died at 4:45 a.m. Saturday at Story County Hospital after a long illness.

A lifetime resident of Garden City, Mrs. Harestad and her husband, Arthur, operated the Garden City telephone service for number of years.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Schumer, 803 Carroll Ave. and Mrs. Lester Olson, Garden City; a son, Robert D., 1404 Carroll Ave. and four granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Garden City Church, with the Rev. J. G. Erickson, pastor officicating. Burial will be in the Garden City Cemetery.

The Bergeson Funera Home, Radcliffe, had made arrangements.
