The funeral of Mallard Daily* was held Monday afternoon and the interment was in the cemetery at Nevada.

The deceased has been a resident of Story county since 1869, at which time he settled about three miles east of Ames. There are surviving him two sons and a daughter.

Death came Sunday* morning at an early hour and the cause is given as valvular heart disease.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: The name of the deceased is misspelled. It should be Mallery Dailey. He died 3 February 1918 at his home 3 miles east of Ames in Grant Twp., Story County, Iowa.
