Surviving are the wife Hannah, two sons, Richard Sorensen and Kermit Sorensen of Nevada and one daughter, Mrs. Juell (Lois) Sandvold of Des Moines. He is also survived by nine grandchildren. One son, Marvin, preceded his father in death.

He leaves two brothers, Herman Sorensen and Fred Sorensen of Nevada and four sisters, Mrs. Oscar Strine of Winter Garden, Fla., Mrs. Herbert Shearman and Mrs. Mont Hansen of Nevada and Mrs. Herman Gunder of Flushing, Long Island, N. Y.

The large number of relatives and friends in attendance at the funeral service was evidence of the respect and affection in which the deceased was held.
