MRS. RICHARD ERICKSON

Funeral services will be held from the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Harry Myklebust officiating for Mrs. Richard (Zelma) Erickson of Brookings, So. Dakota.

Mrs. Erickson, 50, died Sunday morning at 2:30 a.m. at Brookings Hospital as a result of a stroke.

Born Dec. 20, 1921, in Story County, she was the daughter of James and Carrie Beal. She had lived in South Dakota a number of years.

She married Richard O. Erickson on June 15, 1939, and her husband joins several other survivors including her mother, Mrs. Carrie Spencer of Nevada; four sons, four brothers and a sister.

Sons are Larry Erickson of Drexel Hill, Pa.; Steven Erickson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Richard Erickson of Sheldon, Iowa, and Craig Erickson of Colman, So. Dakota.

The four surviving brothers include Jimmie, Howard, Harry and Herman Beal, all of Nevada. In addition, there are 10 grandchildren surviving.

She was preceded in death by her father, three brothers, one sister and an infant daughter.

The family will be at the Ryan Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
