Funeral services for Charles S. Hansen were held from the Ryan Funeral Home, Thursday afternoon a 3:00 o'clock with the Rev. E. P. Windman of Memorial Lutheran officiating.

Mrs. Harry Sutherland, soloist, sang two songs, "now the Day Is Over" and "Beyond the Sunset", with Mrs Norman Dobson accompanying at the organ.

The casket bearers were Mac Allen, George Allen, Ray Bartlett, Ray Soseman, George Hansen and Fred Sorensen.

Burial was in the family lot in the Nevada cemetery.

Born in Illinois

Charles S. Hansen was born Feb. 29, 1876, at Lake Forest, Illinois, a son of William and Elizabeth Hansen.

He was married to Christina Munck at Lake Forest, Ill.

Mr. Hansen's life worth was farming. He had been a resident of Milford township in Story County since 1937.

In ill health for the past few years, his death occurred in the Lutheran Home in Madrid on Monday, February 28.

Two children survive, Mrs. Harry Sorensen, 820 L avenue and William Hansen of Milford township. He also leaves 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Two brothers, M. J. Hansen of Nevada and Wallace hansen of Highland Park, Ill. and one sister, Mrs. Sadie Schrengost of Lake Forest, Ill., also survive him.

Preceding him in death were his wife, his parents, two brothers and on sister.
