ETHEL HENRY

Funeral services will be held from the Central Presbyterian Church in Nevada Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gehrald Riesen officiating for Mrs. Ethel E. Henry, 525 5th St., Nevada who died Thursday at the Story County Hospital. She was 72. She had been ill for the past 5 months.

Born July 17, 1901 to George and Agnes Whyte in Goldfield, she had been a resident of Nevada for the past 42 years. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, the Mother's Club, Thimble Club and Amigos Club.

She is survived by one son, Richard of Des Moines; three daughters, Mrs. Norma Poehlein of Charles City, Mrs. Shirley Eckhardt of State Center and Mrs. Jay Wray of Des Moines; one brother Kenneth Whyte of Goldfield; three sisters, Mrs. Earl Anderson of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Ray Cunningham of Goldfield and Mrs. Eliot Severeid of Goldfield; and also by thirteen grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters and her husband, Gilbert, who died in 1966.

Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Friday.

A memorial fund has been established.
