Charles O'Donnell, 84, Nevada man, died Tuesday

NEVADA -- Charles (Slim) O'Donnell, age 84, 1428 12th St., died Tuesday* afternoon at his home. Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home on Friday, July 16 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Born Sept. 30, 1891 in Ohio, he had been a resident of Nevada for the past 41 years and was self employed. He married Nettie Davis on Dc 12, 1935 in Des Moines.

He is survived by his wife, Nettie; two sons: Charles of Shawnee Mission, Kan. and Robert of Hershey, Nebr.; two daughters; Mrs. Bernard Moore of Maxwell and Mrs. Kathryn Byers of Des Moines; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Florence Fisher of South Vinna, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters and one daughter.
