Hemstock rites are Wednesday

Thomas Jefferson Hemstock, 62, Nevada, died about 1:35 a.m. today at the Story county Hospital. He had been ill for the past five weeks.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Order of Eastern Star at Nevada.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle; a daughter, Judith, Nevada; a brother, Donald, Tucson, Ariz. and a sister, Mrs. Loren Diestler, Slater. He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgiana; an infant son and an infant brother.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Link, pastor of Methodist E.U.B. Church officiating. Burial is to be in Nevada Cemetery.
