Kenneth E. Nelson

Kenneth E. Nelson, 79, of Nevada died June 5 at Story County Hospital Long Term Care of cancer.

He was born July 1, 1910, in Alma. He married Margaret C. Day on Sept. 3, 1984 in Roland. He graduated from Nevada High School and service in the U.S. Army 1942-1945. He was long-time employee of Donnelley Marketing of Nevada and worked part time in Fareway Grocery in Nevada. He was a member of the Nevada V.F.W., American Legion Post 48, and Salem Lutheran Church in Roland.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie.*

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bernard Nelson of Las Vegas, Nev., James Nelson of St. Louis, Mo., and Thomas Nelson of Kansas City, Mo.; three step-daughters, Linda Koenig of Shelter Island, N.Y., Norma Elwick of
