Hansen rites to be Monday

Montague J. Hansen, 82, Nevada, died about 2 a.m. Friday at the Boone County Hospital following an illness of about two years.

Born in Lake Forest, Ill., Mr. Hansen lived most of his life in Story County. He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Hansen was member of the Memorial Lutheran Church.

Funeral services wil be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada with the Rev. Victor Hackbarth officiating. Burial will be in Nevada cemetery.

Survivors include a son, George W. of Nevada; two daughters, Mrs. John Hattery of Nevada and Mrs. Joe Alfred of Ames; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Schrecengost, Lake Forest, Ill.; a brother, Wallace Hansen also of Lake Forest and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sophie, in 1960 and by his parents, a sister and three brothers.
