Mrs. Hansen, Nevada, Died

Mrs. M. J. Hansen, 80, Nevada died Tuesday afternoon at Story County Hospital, where she had been a patient the past two and one-half weeks.

Born at Nevada, she lived her entire lifetime in that area. She lived on a farm in Milford Township until this past winter.

Surviving are her husband, Montague J.; a son, George, Nevada; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Hattery, Nevada and Mrs. Mabel Alfred, 1206 Northwestern Ave.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Fred and Herman Sorensen, Nevada; three sisters, Mrs. Stena Gunder, New York City, N.Y.; Mrs. Minnie Strine, Winter Haven, Fla. and Mrs. Mary Shearman, Nevada.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Lutheran Church, Nevada. The Rev. Victor Hackbarth will officiate. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, until time of funeral services.

MRS. MORT HANSEN

Funeral services for Mrs. Mort Hansen were held at the Lutheran church in Nevada, May 24. The Rev Victor Hackbarth was in charge.

Pallbearers were nephews of Mrs. Hansen, Charles Sorensen, Edward Sorensen, James Sorensen, Kermit Sorensen, Raymond Sorensen and Richard Sorensen. Burial awas in the Nevada cemetery.

Sophia Sorensen was born in Nevada, July 25, 1879, a daughter of Rasmus and Christina Sorensen. After her marriage to Mr. Hansen in 1903 she lived on a farm northwest of Nevada.

Survivors include her husband; a son, George Hansen of Nevada; two daughters, Mrs. John Hattery of Nevada and Mrs. Joe Alfred of Ames; two brothers, Fred Sorensen and Herman Sorensen of Nevada, three sisters, Mrs. Stena Gunder, New York City, N. Y., Mrs. Oscar Strine, Winter Haven, Fla. and Mrs. H. A. Shearman of Nevada.
