Timothy R. Harrison
June 22, 1989-Jan. 31, 1991

Timothy Roger Harrison, 31, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., was killed in action during Operation Desert Storm in Kuwait.

He was born June 27, 1959, in Nevada to Orval Gene and Lorelei (Layerty) Harrison. He lived in Maxwell form 1959 to 1979 and then joined the United States Air Force. He was a Staff Sergeant of the Gunner-AC-130H Gunship.

He was a member fo the Calvary Lutheran Church of Des Moines and the Moose Club, the Spectre Association and the Boys Club, all in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. He volunteered many hours to the Boys Club.

Survivors include his parents of Maxwell; two sisters, Sandy Viers and Ardis Baldwin, both of Maxwell; and his maternal grandmother, Ruth Peters of Vinton.

Visitation will be Friday, May 3, at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell, with a prayer service scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 4, at 2 p.m. at the Maxwell High School. Burial will follow in the Nevada Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW, American Legion, Spectre Association and Boys Club of Fort Walton Beach.
