Gary Ross Bushman, 46, of Collins, Iowa, died Friday, July 5, 2013 of injuries resulting from an auto accident.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, July 12, 2013, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Visitation will also be 5:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, at the Bacon Funeral Home.

Gary was born February 7, 1967 in Nevada, Iowa, the son of Richard and Ellen Bushman. He graduated from Nevada High School and attended U.T.I. Commercial Art School in Omaha, NE. He was united in marriage to Julie Wirth in Gilbert, Iowa, on May 27, 1997. He was the owner of the Alibi Bar & Grill in Collins.

Gary loved motorcycles and four wheeling. He was an accomplished artist. He enjoyed fireworks, his poodles, and cherished his friends and friendships.

Gary is survived by his wife, Julie; his brother, Dennis (Carol) Bushman of Illinois; three sisters: Diane (Bob) Kenoyer of Arkansas; Debbie (Robert) Jensen of Michigan; Donna (Joseph) Little Bear of Boone, Iowa, and his two toy poodles: Katie Mae and Louie.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be given to Gary Bushman Memorial Fund.

Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory in Nevada is in charge of arrangements.
