Grace Pauline Jacobson
Oct. 7, 1920 to Oct. 8, 1991

Grace Pauline Jacobson, 71, of Nevada died of a heart attack at Story County Hospital, Nevada.

She was born to Lewis and Bertha (Hall) Rasmusson at Nevada the past 21 years. She married Curtis Jacobson on March 30, 1944, at Roland. She retired from employment at Iowa State University in 1986. She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church, Nevada.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis of Nevada; two sons, Stephen Jacobson of Princeton Junction, N.J.; and Mark Jacobson of New Fairfield, Conn.; two daughters, Sandra Hegland of Runnells and Sherry Wilkinson of West Des Moines; four grandchildren; one brother, Jeffrey Rasmusson of Nevada; and four sisters, Erma Halverson of Roland, Myrtle Sampson of Story City, Burdella Bennett of Des Moines and Frances Vasey of Ames.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation was held Oct. 10 at Chet Ryan Mortuary, Nevada. Funeral services were held Oct. 11 at Memorial Lutheran Church. Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
