Mrs. Hopkins services Friday

Mrs. Zora Veloy Hopkins, 87, 1412 Marston Ave., died Wednesday at Mary Greeley Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday from Adams Funeral Home, with the Rev. William P. Overhulser officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Hopkins was born Aug. 24, 1885 at Kelley and she was married Walter O. Hopkins, Dec 25, 1908 at Laurens. she moved to Ames in 1955 and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include s don, L. O. Hopkins, Phoenix, Ariz.; four daughters, Mrs. E. W. Van Doren, 1412 Marston Ave.; Mrs. E. J. Grewell, Forest Park, Ill.; Mrs. Maurice Grewell, Forest Park, Ill,; Mrs. Forest Grewell, San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. A. P. Brugone, Long Beach, Calif.; a sister, Cordie V. Strong, Crosby, Minn., 15 grand children and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister.

Friends may call at Adams Funeral Home Thursday evening.

A memorial fund for the American Cancer Assn. has been established and gifts may be left at the First National Bank.
