Glen W. Sherman
October 8, 1926 - June 28, 2013

Glen was born on October 8, 1926 to parents Edwin A. and Pearl (Wilson) Sherman in Chilhowee, MO. He married Julia E. Merchant on July 16, 1949. He worked 33 years in retail sales as a regional manager for “Mode O’ Day”. He has lived in the Story City area since 2000. Since retirement he spent his time playing golf, fishing, camping, trading cars, grilling and boating. He enjoyed his time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Glen W. Sherman, 86, passed away on June 28, 2013 at Bethany Manor in Story City.

Survivors include his wife Julia of Story City, IA; his children Jeffrey (Diane) Sherman of Urbandale, IA and Michael (Carol) Sherman of Story City, IA; seven grandchildren: Lisa, Nick, Claire, Alyssa, Crysta, Carla, Dan, Jason, and Angy; 6 great grandchildren; and step brother, Edwin Sherman of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents.
