Theodore Lovig rites Wednesday

Funeral services for Theodore Lawrence Lovig, 66, Story City, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Bethel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Donald Berg officiating. Burial will be in Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Mr. Lovig died early Monday at his home.

Mr. Lovig was born July 26, 1906 west of McCallsburg.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; three sons, Richard Lovig, Norfolk, Neb., Roger and Ronald Lovig, both of Story City; two daughters, Mrs. Sonja DeBerg, Ankeny and Sandra Lovig, Story City; six grandchildren; three brothers, Nels Lovig, Wilmer, Minn.; Reuben Lovig, Randall, and Carl Knutson, 1015 Carroll Ave.; and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Johnson, Story City and Mrs. Esther Ask, Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Ellen Lovig, and two sisters.
