Mrs. Fern Johnson died at Story City

Mrs. Fern M. Johnson, Longville, Minn., a former Story City resident, died Wednesday evening at the Story City Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Grace United Methodist Church in Story City with the Rev. Paul Beckman officiating. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Joe, Longville, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Matson, Story City and Mrs. LaVonne Howell, Sheboygen, Mich.; two sons, Keith, San Fernando, Calif. and Claude, Longville, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Llyl Johnson, Story City and one sister Mrs. Lillian Mickelson, Fairhope, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

The body will lie in state at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City.
