Rodney K. Hovick

Funeral services for Rodney K. Hovick will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Elim Lutheran Church in Randall. The Revs. R. Donald Berg and Carl. F. Schattauer will officiate. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Mr. Hovick, 29, of Columbus, Neb., a former Ames area resident, died Oct. 14 as a result of a two-ca accident in rural Clarkson, Neb.

He was born Nov. 22, 1947, in Hamilton County to Milo and Maxine Hovick. he was a graduate of South Hamilton High School.

Mr. Hovick married Diane Franklin June 14, 1968. He worked for LaRoche and Hoffman Co. in Ames. Mr. Hovick lived in the Ames area until three months ago when he moved to Columbus. In Columbus he was employed by Cesh Corp.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Tracy; three daughters, Stacie, Heather and Brandie; one brother, Keith of Ellsworth; three sisters, Virginia Egemo of Story City, Darlene Kane of Menlo and Lorna Munsinger of Ames; his parents, Milo and Maxine Hovick of Branson, Mo.; and his grandfather, Arthur Hovick of Story City.

Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City is in charge of arrangements.
