Barbara A. Teuscher

Barbara Teuscher, 64, died of complications from emphysema at her home in Ames on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan 22, at Grace United Methodist Church in Story City of which she was a member with Pastor Don Preston officiating. Burial was in Story City Cemetery.

Barbara Ann Teuscher was born April 15, 1934 in Monroe, Wisconsin to Ernest and Bertha (Rubi) Neuenschwander. On Nov. 1, 1952 she married Robert Teuscher in Orangeville, Illinois. Barbara was a homemaker, residing in the Story City and Ames area since 1974.

Survivors include her husband Robert of Ames, three daughters, Carol Ortman of Brookfield, Wisconsin, Sally Boster of Nevada, and Brenda Rude of Ames, one son, Robert of Story City; nine grandchildren, and three brothers, Russell and Donny of Monroe, Wisconsin and Clifford of Waupun, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Gail; grandson, Garrett Boster, and a sister, Darlene Isley.
